We're a coalition of individuals and groups from around the Tallahassee area that oppose fiscal irresponsibility in government at the local, state, and federal levels. On April 15, 2009, over a thousand “Tea Parties” were held across the country, including here in Tallahassee - where we held our first on on March 17, 2009. This was just the beginning of a larger movement aimed at restoring the basic free-market principles our country was built on and holding the government responsible for excessive spending.

While the tea parties began in response to the federal bailouts in the fall 2008 and the "stimulus" program in February 2009, it has now grown to be a movement that wants to get our country back on track with the Constitutional principles of limited government, individual liberty and personal responsibility.

If you are interested in joining our coalition, you will be updated on how we are going to turn the energy at the tea party rallies into action. We will be continuing to stay on top of our local, state, and federal representatives, to hold them accountable to the oaths they pledged. If we don't stand up for our rights and our liberties today, future generations will ask us: what did you do when freedom was at stake?

Join this group and come out to our tea parties and our activist trainining sessions; become an activated citizen, take a few minutes each week to help make phone calls, send an email, and write letters to your elected officials, reminding them that they answer to us and to the U.S. Constitution. Together, we here in Tallahassee can help save this country, the last beacon of hope for the future of freedom.
